Today, we pay tribute to the courageous men and women who valiantly gave their lives while serving our country on this Memorial Day. These exceptional individuals responded to the call to safeguard our liberties and way of life, fully aware of the dangers they confronted. We are forever indebted to them for their altruism and sacrifice. Their selflessness and sacrifice serve as a reminder of the actual cost of liberty. Let us never forget the sacrifices made by these fearless fighters, and may we always strive to uphold the values for which they fought and died. Furthermore, let us pay tribute to the current members of our Armed Forces, as well as our Veterans and their families, who valiantly endure the challenges of military life every day. We express our appreciation to the Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Marines, Space Force, as well as all National Guard and Reserve Units for their outstanding service.
